Our Service is the Gateway to your Success
PIDSO develops, implements and produces innovative and customized antennas and hardware solutions for customers all over the world. PIDSO relies on the latest technology and draws on many years of experience in various application areas.
Our focus is always to fulfill individual customer requirements. Therefore, PIDSO offers a complete service package to create the ideal solution for each customer need.
Circuit Design and System Design
After the initial contact and submission of requirements, we create a system design. Based on your product specifications, we develop a concept and individual circuit design together with the software. The process includes schematic planning, component selection, and system integration. Detailed documentation, design reviews, and iterative adjustments are performed to ensure compliance with technical and operational specifications.
High Frequency Measurement and Simulation
Our in-house research and rapid prototyping capabilities enable the development of customized antenna solutions. We perform RF simulations, 3D EM field analyses, and circuit modeling to evaluate antenna placement, directional characteristics, and signal reception. Measurements can be performed on single antennas or complete systems. PIDSO can implement modifications to existing solutions. High-frequency lab measurements are conducted from 70 MHz to 110 GHz, with outdoor measurements starting at 45 MHz. Standard procedures such as MIL-STD-461 and CISPR-25 can also be applied on request.
Environmental Measurements
Environmental influences such as temperature, humidity, and mechanical stress are simulated in controlled test chambers. Thermal cycling, humidity exposure, and vibration tests are performed to assess antenna and system stability. Test results are used to verify electrical performance, material behavior, and component reliability under varying environmental conditions. Adjustments are made to ensure the systems operate within specification ranges.
Prototype Construction and Small Batch Production
Prototyping is carried out in our in-house prototype line. All prototypes are measured in the high-frequency laboratory to verify material quality and electrical performance. Standard operating tests, including MIL-STD-810F, are available on request. After verification, designs can be transferred to small series production. Production capabilities include CNC machining, PCB assembly, end-testing, and full product assembly. Coordination between in-house teams and external partners ensures consistent quality and compliance with specifications.
Frequency and Product Selection for Individual Applications
Electromagnetic propagation characteristics and antenna system requirements are analyzed to determine suitable frequency ranges and product configurations. Services include reviewing existing systems, defining radiation patterns, designing antennas, and integrating components. All stages, from initial planning to final configuration, follow established technical procedures and documented design workflows.
Implementation of Frequency Allocation Procedures
We provide support for identification, selection, and classification of frequency ranges for specific applications. Procedures include reviewing national and international regulations, preparing technical submissions, coordinating with local authorities, and documenting frequency assignments. All activities are performed in accordance with applicable standards and regulatory procedures.
Support for Operating Licenses and Technical Approvals
We assist with approval and licensing of terminal equipment with RF transmitters and receivers, including external or integrated antennas. Services include pre-testing of output power, assessment of radiation behavior in the RF laboratory, preparation of technical documentation, and coordination with regulatory authorities. All processes adhere to applicable standards and regulations.
Customized Cable Solutions
For specialized applications, we provide tailored cable solutions, including USB, Ethernet, coaxial, and serial cables, as well as connectors and adapters. Services cover design, component selection, assembly, and testing to meet electrical, mechanical, and environmental requirements.
